Homemade Pizza Sauce

There is nothing like fresh ingredients to take a recipe to the next level. In this sauce, fresh tomatoes make the difference. Best paired with this artisanal style Pizza Dough recipe. This sauce is sure to take your pizza nights to a new level.

Cook Time: 10 min

Serves: 2 large pizzas


  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 5 roma tomatoes (diced)
  • 1 tbsp fresh basil (or 2 tsp dried basil)
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp salt & pepper
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste


  1. In a pan over medium heat, cook garlic in olive oil for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  2. Add in remainder of ingredients, except tomato paste, and cook for about 10 minutes. The tomato juices should have evaporated and the sauce will be thicker.
  3. Add in tomato paste and mix together.
  4. Sauce is ready for use.
